About the role
Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter -Site Services looking for a new challenge? Wolfram Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Mt Carlton Mine, QLD. This is a full-time 8/6 DIDO role that will see you playing a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.
What you'll be doing
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on site infrastructure including:
Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant - Training Provided
- Sewage Treatment (STP) Plant - Training Provided
- Diesel gensets, small engines - Basic Servicing
- Dewatering systems and water supply equipment
- Carry out routine inspections of site infrastructure, plant and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and implement appropriate solutions
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and spare parts usage
- Liaise with other teams to minimise disruption and ensure optimal performance
- Support the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures
What we're looking for
- Formal trade qualifications as a Fitter and Turner or Mechanical Fitter
- DIDO Role - Requires residence in Townsville, Cairns, Ayr, Bowen or within this locale
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar mining maintenance role
- High Risk Work Licenses (FL, WP, etc)
- Experience in water and waste treatment systems - Desirable
- Experience with Pronto - Desirable
- A laser focus on safety and a proactive approach to risk management
- Excellent fault-finding and problem solving skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
