Job description:

The Opportunity:

Seeking multiple Diesel Fitters for an exciting new contract permanently based at our Curragh Coal Mine.

Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and servicing of PC7000 Excavator, 930E-5 Electric Drive Dump Trucks, and D475 dozers.

You will support and complete all machine-oriented tasks to enhance and maintain the Komatsu fleet based.

Roster: 7/7 day /night shift roster hour shifts (with bus transfer to and from camp)

Annualised Salary: $178K+ Plus Allowances & Super

Role Located: Curragh Coal Mine

What we are looking for:

  • Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Certificate is mandatory
  • Relevant experience in diesel fitting and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of heavy mobile plant equipment, particularly PC7000 excavator, D475 dozers, and 930 trucks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently to minimise downtime
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Always adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with onsite team members to achieve production targets
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
