We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a high-impact digital health program. It is an initial 6 months contract based on our client site in Melbourne CBD {Hybrid work}

This role will support the program, contributing to the delivery of modern, secure, and integrated digital health solutions across health services.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Health professionals and IT delivery experts to design and validate solution architectures, ensure conformance with national health standards (HL7, FHIR), and support the implementation of capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Solution Option Packs and Solution Architecture Documents (SAD)
• Review and validate technical deliverables from internal and external stakeholders
• Design integration specifications and architectural topology diagrams
• Provide quality assurance and technical fit assessments
• Collaborate with the Program Manager and project teams to deliver weekly and ad hoc reporting
• Support knowledge transfer and handover documentation

What makes you a good Fit?

• Experience in solution architecture
• Strong knowledge of HL7 and FHIR health protocols
• Proven experience in cloud architecture, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Expertise in integration design, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON/XML
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Azure SQL, DataBricks, etc.)
• Experience working in agile environments and engaging with senior stakeholders
• Strong understanding of security, identity management, and data governance
