Job description

An exciting position has become available at our fresh pasta factory situated in Sydney's inner west. The business has been operating for over 30 years with a busy shopfront and is well known in the area.

Hours: Friday and Saturday every second weekend 8.30am-4.00pm

Flexibility in being able to work additional days as required would be an advantage

Responsibilities include

  • Serving customers
  • Stocking products and rotation of stock
  • Presentation of products
  • Cleaning work surfaces, sweeping and mopping the shop floor at the end of each day
  • Completion of forms for temperatures and stock requirements
  • Food handling as required. This includes packing and printing labels for products
  • Some cooking of products for the shop required eg Arancini
  • Reconciling Cash Register at the end of each day

Key requirements for this position

  • General knowledge of POS and eftpos System
  • Good English speaking communication
  • Confident, friendly, outgoing, honest and trustworthy
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Be able to foster good relationship with customers
  • Be  able to work independently and without supervision
