Discount Party World have thousands of theme party ideas, tableware, birthday party decorations and variety of balloons. The company is growing rapidly and now we are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking people to join our team.

We are looking for someone with customer servise and visual merchandising experience for this position in our Taren Point store. We are offering Full time, Part time and Casual roles. The applicant must be able to handle multi tasks and work efficiently.

About the Roll of the Retail Shop Assistant:

  • Put stocks on shelves/ Stock merchandising/ Stock displaying/ styling
  • Serving customer in person and on the phone with proper manners
  • Inflating balloons, assembling Balloon Arrangements – training can be provided
  • Assist customers to place balloon orders and give customer suggestions on balloon design and arrangment
  • Assist picking and packing online orders
  • Deliver balloons to customer by driving our AUTO company Van
  • Cleaning the store (back & front)
  • Be an expert on our products allowing you to make the best suggestions for the customer.

Job Requirements.

  • Be able to travel to work at Taren Point
  • Driver license (MUST)
  • Previouse management experiense
  • Previous visual merchandising and customer service experience preferred
  • Previouse Balloon shop experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and in the team
  • Quick learner and work efficiently
