This position sits within the Zeller Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Director of Growth. You'll be responsible for delivering acquisition-focused initiatives, campaigns, and strategies to deliver against Zeller's ambitious growth and product adoption goals — while driving maximum marketing efficiency, improving reach, and delivering incrementality by optimising conversion through different funnels.
As a hands-on growth and marketing expert, you'll lead the planning, execution and optimisation of customer acquisition, lead generation, and product growth campaigns, incorporating paid marketing, owned channels, and testing a range of promotional offers / incentives to acquire new customers. You'll bring both strategic insight and executional excellence, combined with a strong understanding of merchant behaviour and channel strategy.
You'll combine analytical rigour with creative thinking to translate performance data into actionable insights, while developing innovative, audience-first strategies to drive growth. You'll be responsible for building and launching campaigns across a variety of platforms and channels, including (but not limited to) web, email, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Search, Display, offline media, and partnerships.
The is an exciting and dynamic role for a creative, analytical and highly analytical growth marketer to lead impactful, cross-functional campaigns, own Zeller's customer acquisition and demand generation roadmap, and experiment on the cutting-edge of marketing strategy to deliver high impact, performance-driven campaigns.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and execute on a wide variety of acquisition, product, and general marketing campaigns, owning all areas of execution including strategy, targeting, creative, messaging, launch, optimisation, reporting, launch, optimisation, launches, optimisation, and reporting and budget management.
- Maintain and monitor customer acquisition pacing and performance metrics for new merchants and demand generation.
- Lead Zeller's lead / demand generation strategy, establishing our scoring, nurturing, and qualification roadmap to support our growing sales team.
- Work cross-functionally with a team of in-house marketers and creatives to deliver fully integrated campaigns which exceed our growth targets in a cost-effective manner.
- Lead and measure performance across an evergreen portfolio of paid channels.
- Execute ad-hoc campaigns with separate goals and budgets as the landscape shifts or opportunities arise.
- Develop and implement testing and experimentation strategies (creative, copy, CRO/ A/B testing, channel mix, incrementality testing, audience, placements, etc) to ensure Zeller is consistently improving and enhancing our marketing mix and retargeting strategy to maximise full-funnel performance.
- Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, with the speed and ownership to adjust tactics and strategies quickly based on learnings and opportunities.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure our performance goals are consistently exceeded.
Skills And Experience
- 3+ years of growth marketing experience in a SaaS or tech business, including detailed campaign strategy and planning.
- You're an adept problem solver, and can creatively construct engaging campaign or marketing ideas that are actionable and out-of-the box.
- Direct experience working across a variety of digital customer acquisition / product adoption funnels, with complex multi-touch attribution models.
- Experience driving media planning, optimisation and reporting (Paid search, Paid Social, Display) independently, or without complete outsourcing to an agency.
- Adept at using and building strategy for online advertising products including Google Adwords, Facebook Ad Manager, etc.
- Deep familiarity with all digital marketing metrics including CPL, CPA, CPC, CPM, LTV and ROAS as well as an understanding of marketing attribution methodologies.
- Strong analytical / Excel skills with experience building pivot tables, multi-function formulas and graphs (basic SQL a plus, but not essential).
- Ability to work effectively independently, and with a broad spectrum of both internal team members from marketing, sales, operations, finance and creative teams.
