Join our growing team A position is available in our long established, modern progressive firm due to expanding client base and internal growth.

About the job

Working closely with the senior manager, this role involves the provision of a broad range of accounting, taxation, business and support to our clients including:

• Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements.

• Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.

• Communicating directly with clients.

To be successful, candidates will have the following attributes

  • A very good understanding of accounting principles and Australian tax law for Individuals, Trust and Companies.
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to email clients and communicate directly.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to show initiative in completing tasks on your ownas per Manager's instructions.
  • Ability to manage workflow of client base given to you and work based on time priorities.
  • Advance competency with Microsoft Word and Excel, including letters and spreadsheets for clients and the firm.
  • Ability to operate Xero (Advanced) and MYOB files proficiently.
  • Highly motivated individual and a team player with strong work ethics.
  • Have FULL working rights in Australia.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5-8 years' experience and are looking to continue your career in public practice with ambition to complete or have completed your CA or CPA.
