The Accounting Division is a boutique accounting firm offering tax and business advisory services to small and medium sized businesses, and individuals.

We are a 100% cloud based firm, which allows us great flexibility and efficiency.

We are not the typical accounting firm We do things a bit differently, by taking a modern approach to the advice & services we offer.

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team, who will be providing accounting services to clients whilst ensuring excellent customer relationships are developed and maintained throughout the process.

About the role

  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and BAS's for family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships & Individuals
  • Reviewing of working papers & financial statements
  • Liaising with clients and government organisations in a timely and professional manner (incl. ASIC and ATO)
  • Meeting with clients to complete Individual Tax Returns
  • Collaboration with social media & newsletter content

You will have:

  • A CA Qualification
  • Minimum 3 year's experience in public practice as an accountant
  • Back to front knowledge of Xero (minimum 2 year's full time experience, XPM a bonus)
  • Ability to learn and use other industry related software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and numerical skills
  • A positive and driven attitude
