About the Role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic and talented Social Media & Content Creator to join our team on a casual basis (minimum 15 hours per week) This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a knack for creating eye-catching content (especially video), and genuinely enjoys interacting with customers online. You will be the voice of CustomKings across our social platforms, responsible for growing our online presence, engaging our audience, and providing excellent customer support via social channels during our business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across key platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
  • Create engaging, original, high-quality content daily, with a strong focus on short-form video (ideation, filming, editing for Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
  • Manage our social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and staying active in relevant conversations.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer service inquiries, comments, and messages.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer interactions, resolving issues and fostering a positive community environment.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools and report on key metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform features, and best practices, particularly in video content.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency.

About You:

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or business.
  • Demonstrable experience creating engaging content, especially short-form video. Please provide a portfolio or links to examples of your work.
  • Excellent video shooting and editing skills (mobile editing apps or software).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience providing customer service, ideally via social media.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your time effectively.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting.
  • Based locally and able to work on-site in Bennett's Green, NSW during standard business hours.

Bonus Points:

  • Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with social media advertising campaigns.
  • Photography skills.
