About the role:

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team on a BHP project in Western Australia. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will play a key role in driving a positive safety culture, supporting site operations, and ensuring compliance with company and client requirements. This role is FIFO ex-Perth on a 2:1 roster.

  • 2:1 Roster – FIFO ex Perth
  • 12-hour days
  • 7+ month project
  • $80 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HSE support and guidance to site personnel and supervisors
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare reports
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HSE systems and procedures
  • Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve best practice in health, safety, and environment

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience as an HSE Advisor (mining, construction, or heavy industry)
  • Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum requirement)
  • ICAM investigation training (highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence positive safety behaviours
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships across site
