As a Cargo Screener & Warehouse Assistant Trainee, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all cargo meets safety, security, and compliance standards before shipment. This is an entry-level position with full training provided. You will gain hands-on experience in screening cargo and assisting with warehouse operations, laying the foundation for a long-term career in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Screening Duties:

  • Assist in screening and inspecting cargo to ensure it complies with security and regulatory requirements
  • Operate screening equipment (X-ray machines, ETD, etc.) and assist in manual inspection processes as required
  • Help with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and sorting goods
  • Ensure all goods are correctly labeled and stored in the appropriate location/s
  • Work closely with the team to maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Assist with inventory management and perform stock checks
  • Maintain accurate screening records and reports
  • Ensure compliance with relevant aviation, safety, and security protocols.
  • Participate in training sessions and development programs to learn about the logistics industry

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required—this is a trainee position designed for individuals eager to learn and grow
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential security risks in cargo
  • Physically fit and able to lift items as required
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and knowledge
  • Proven reliability and commitment
