Plasma / Machine Operator - Night Shift

Gold Road Personnel are a West Perth based company, specialising in recruitment within the Mining & Resources sector.
On behalf on one of our clients, a well respected metals distributor and processor, we are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with plasma cutter experience for a permanent position on night shift.
Salary & other Benefits
- PERMANENT POSITION
- $36-$38 per hour + 30% night shift loading
- free onsite gym with access to personal trainers
- Onsite showers and lockers
- Monthly barbeques
About the Role
- Working our Night shift 10pm – 6am
- Loading and unloading, sometimes manual/hands on
- Machine operation within a manufacturing environment
- Following quality procedures and caring out quality checks
- Working to tight schedules to fulfil customer commitments
- Checking and reporting any equipment faults
Requirements to be considered for the role
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Experience in a steel handling industry
- Prior experience operating a Plasma(essential), Laser, Overhead Crane and other CNC Machinery
- A high regard for work place safety and be able to follow and comply with all safety
- Be willing to undertake a pre employment medical and drug screen as part of our client OHS requirements
