About the RoleAs our Facilities Technician, you'll be the frontline technical expert ensuring our client's facilities run smoothly. We're looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to join our Integrated Facilities Management team in Sydney. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our client's daily operations while growing your technical expertise with a global leader in real estate services.Benefits:18 weeks paid parental leave for Primary Carer after 6 months of servicePrivate Health Insurance DiscountsGym & Wellbeing DiscountsEmployee assistance programHealth & Beauty DiscountsNovated Lease for EV CarsFlexible Work Arrangements may be availableWork with cutting-edge facility management technologies and processesKey Responsibilities:Technical Operations & Maintenance:Conduct daily inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment alongside the Site Engineering ManagerPerform minor repairs and replacements (light tubes, door locks, keyboard drawers)Respond promptly to equipment alarms and help desk work ordersOrganize and supervise maintenance vendors when neededFacilities Management:Monitor equipment rooms and facilities using predefined checklistsMaintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairsUpdate inventory of consumables and spare partsSupport minor renovation projects and office fit-outsAttend site on weekends/after hours to supervise/escort vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance works (as required, typically at least one Saturday a month)Responsible for the operations of M&E equipment to ensure compliance with HSE and statutory requirements.Reparation and Renovation on spotRaise work orders as necessaryRenovate daily inspection fault within skills baseRespond to users reported defectsInform users about status of requestsClient Service:Respond to user-reported defects promptlyCommunicate repair status to facility usersWork closely with Building Management and Security teamsAttend site on weekends/after hours as required (typically one Saturday per month)What we are looking for:Diploma in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical, or related disciplineValid electrical license (essential)3+ years of experience in facility-related technical servicesBasic handyman skillsFundamental computer proficiencyClear communication skills in English (both verbal and written)Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailWhat to expect from us:As an organisation, we don't just accept that we are a place of many different people, but we embrace it, we celebrate it, and we proactively support the needs that difference brings.
