About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team at Sunny Homes. This role focuses on bringing clients' visions to life through thoughtful design, material selections, and attention to detail that reflects both style and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand design preferences, lifestyle needs, and project requirements.
  • Prepare mood boards, concept designs, and 3D visualisations to communicate ideas.
  • Source and specify finishes, fixtures, fittings, and furniture within allocated budgets.
  • Work closely with suppliers and trades to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure design intent is executed during construction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends, sustainable materials, and compliance standards.
  • Provide guidance during client selections appointments (joinery, flooring, lighting, colour schemes, etc.).

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Excellent eye for colour, detail, and proportion.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience in residential or custom home design preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
