The Role
You will assist in the delivery of high quality homes by coordinating the council approval process, working closely with clients, and liaising with service providers, consultants, councils and suppliers to achieve pre-construction compliance.
We're looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build rapport and develop strong, positive relationships. As the key point of contact for our clients between the sales and construction stages, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience throughout their building journey.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Use your knowledge of interior and exterior materials and finishes to assist clients achieve the desired look and style of their new home
- Provide clients with regular progress updates and conduct client appointments
- Liaise and coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, consultants and council or regulatory authorities to make sure all pre-construction steps are handled efficiently
- Carefully review building plans and compliance documents to ensure everything is accurate and meets the required standards before moving forward
- Coordination of all necessary permits, approvals and statutory requirements so that construction can start on schedule
- Preparation of contracts and associated documents
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will
- Have experience in the building and construction industry
- Possess knowledge and understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and the Tasmanian Planning Scheme
- Be able to read and interpret building plans
- Be committed to delivering exceptional and professional customer service
- Have effective communication skills with the ability to build positive customer relationships and collaborate well within a team
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills
- Exhibit excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Be capable of managing multiple projects and competing priorities efficiently
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
