As our Communications & Employee Experience Manager (Maternity Leave Cover), you'll shape how people experience the McPherson's brand – creating communication and experiences that connect people to our purpose, strategy, and values through clear, creative, and consistent storytelling.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll have a direct hand in shaping how communication and culture come to life across McPherson's and partner closely with leaders across the business to strengthen engagement, alignment, and pride during a pivotal time.

What you'll do

In this hands-on and purpose-driven role, you'll:


• Lead internal communication rhythms – including town halls, CEO updates, and enterprise storytelling moments that connect our people to what matters most.


• Enhance employee experience through culture-building campaigns, engagement activations, and events that celebrate our people and reinforce belonging.


• Champion our employer brand by crafting external content for LinkedIn, careers channels, and the corporate website that showcase McPherson's as a great place to work.


• Support ASX and corporate communications, including compiling content for the Annual Report and Investor Presentations, and delivery of Annual General Meeting.


• Act as a trusted advisor across all functions and Executives to ensure consistent messaging and provide strategic communication support.


• Use feedback and engagement data to continually improve how we communicate and connect as one team.


• Leverage digital communication tools and creative platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Canva, and video tools) to deliver engaging and visually compelling stories.

About you

You're a strategic communicator and natural storyteller with a passion for people and culture. You bring:


• Proven experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or employee experience roles.


• Exceptional writing, editing, and stakeholder management skills.


• You're equally comfortable crafting a strategic narrative for executives as you are rolling up your sleeves to deliver engaging, well-crafted content that brings it to life.


• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with calm professionalism.


• A creative yet structured approach to communication, grounded in purpose and clarity.


• Experience with digital communication tools and social platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Canva, LinkedIn), and curiosity about how emerging technologies, including AI.
