About our role:

We are seeking an experienced Bulk Earthworks Supervisor to lead a major civil construction project involving extensive topsoil stripping, embankment construction, and drainage works. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational oversight, technical expertise, and team coordination.

  • Lead the stripping of topsoil and the construction of embankments using scrapers
  • Oversee the installation of underdrainage systems and deposition pipelines.
  • Manage and coordinate a full plant fleet, including scrapers, dozers, GPS graders, watercarts, loaders, trucks, trim diggers, and a stabilising crew for borrow pit conditioning and foundation preparation.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience supervising large-scale bulk earthworks and drainage operations.
  • Familiarity with 657 Open Bowl Scrapers is highly advantageous.
  • Completion of Schedule 26 Modules and exams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage crews and subcontractors effectively.
  • Ability to coordinate project activities, interface with clients, and drive safety and operational performance.
  • Demonstrated capability to coach and support teams, set and cascade performance targets, and improve operational plans.
  • Solid understanding of OH&S regulations, procedures, and policies.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
  • Must provide a current police clearance.
