The Emerson is one of Melbourne's most iconic venues, spanning three luxurious levels — from the vibrant Rooftop bar and restaurant to the disco ball–adorned Lounge, and the exclusive Nightclub where guests can enjoy a true VIP experience.

We're looking for a
creative and proactive Social Media & Content Coordinator
to join our team. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing The Emerson brand to life across our digital platforms through engaging content, social storytelling, and community connection.

About the Role

You'll assist with the day-to-day management of
The Emerson's three social media profiles
, ensuring content is consistent, on-brand, and aligned with our marketing strategy. This role is ideal for someone who loves nightlife, hospitality, and digital creativity — and can balance creative flair with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assist in managing and scheduling content across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).


• Capture and edit photo and video content during events, activations, and day-to-day operations.


• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and monitor community interactions.


• Support the Marketing Manager with implementing monthly content plans and campaigns.


• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and event partners to gather assets.


• Track performance insights and assist with basic reporting on content performance and engagement.

About You


• 1–2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (hospitality or events experience highly regarded).


• Strong understanding of social media trends and platform best practices.


• Confident capturing and editing short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Stories).


• Excellent written communication skills and an eye for visual detail.


• Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment (especially during event hours when needed).
