The Role – What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform diagnostics, servicing, testing, and commissioning of large marine & industrial HVAC chillers & refrigeration systems
  • Troubleshoot reactive breakdowns and complete repairs on marine & land-based equipment
  • Overhaul and repair of large chiller compressors
  • Clean and maintain large water-cooled condenser tubes
  • Handle electrical fault-finding, safety testing, and component replacement
  • Analyse refrigeration performance using superheat, subcooling, and other key indicators
  • Assist in design and installation of temporary chilled water systems
  • Maintain accurate timesheets & service reports

  • Experienced HVAC Technician with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills

Essential Requirements

  • Cert III in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration
  • Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Restricted Electrical Licence
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card)
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • Unrestricted Australian work rights
  • Ability to pass an AFP police check

Preferred (But Not Essential)

  • Diploma in Refrigeration System
  • 5+ years of experience in the trade
  • Previous marine or offshore HVAC experience
