ABOUT AMEK ENGINEERING

AMEK Engineering is a national company providing first class building services to the commercial sector. We are multi trade specialists that in addition to HVAC, also offer our expertise in Electrical, Fire and BMS (Building Management Systems).

Due to growth in our business, we are recruiting for a HVAC Apprentice to join our team on a full-time basis

YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Assist in carrying out planned preventative maintenance of air conditioning systems and plant equipment.
  • Assist in carrying out breakdown service, installations and quoted project works.
  • Preparation and submission of service reports.
  • Log detailed reports of work performed in a field management app
  • Ensure client expectations are met.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Strong diagnosis and fault-finding skills
  • Honest and Reliable
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • OHS&E knowledge and understanding. .
  • Be willing to travel inter/intra state when required
  • Be available for planned and unplanned overtime

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have your own basic hand tools
  • Trainee ARCtick License
  • 'C' Class Driver's License
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Working at Heights Ticket (Within 2 years)
  • National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
  • Ability to obtain Working with Children check
  • Right to work in Australia
