About the Role

Join Rio Tinto's Fixed Plant Electrical team as a Refrigeration Maintainer, responsible for maintaining HVAC-R systems across our Tom Price operations. This role ensures the safety, comfort, and reliability of critical infrastructure supporting our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair refrigeration, chillers and air-conditioning systems across site.
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on critical assets.
  • Operate mobile and lifting equipment safely.
  • Use SAP and work management systems for task tracking.
  • Promote and uphold Rio Tinto's safety culture.
  • Support continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate III in Mechanical Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
  • Full Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Licence
  • (Optional) Restricted Electrical Licence
  • WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence (Manual); HR Licence preferred
  • High-Risk Work Licences (Forklift LF, EWP) desirable
  • Experience in mine site HVAC-R systems maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Proficiency in SAP and building management systems
  • Commitment to safety and compliance
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
