About the Role

Bradbury Group Australia is seeking a hands-on, mechanically minded Tool Maker to join our team in Meadowbrook. You'll play a key role in assembling roll forming machines, decoilers, and subassemblies, working from engineering drawings and supporting end-to-end machine build and testing. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Assembly Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpreting technical drawings/blueprints.
  • Assembling and fitting hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • Assembling press tools guillotines and other machine attachments.
  • Installing machine components on machines
  • Resolving assembly issues promptly.
  • Conducting quality control checks.

Skills Required:

  • Reading technical drawings/blueprints in detail to understand the design specifications.
  • Using precision measuring instruments such as calliper, micrometre etc to ensure tight tolerances.
  • Basic mechanic assembly skills.
  • Assembling press tools, guillotines etc.
  • Operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, surface grinders. Experience in CNC machine operation is an advantage.
  • Use hand tools to meet specific production needs.
  • Knowledge in assembly of hydraulic and pneumatic components is advantage.

Required Licences

  • Current Forklift Licence is an advantage
  • Current Driver's Licence
