About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef / Cook to join our team at the Drunken Admiral restaurant in Hobart, TAS 7000. This is a Casual or Part-Time role, where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes from our menu
  • Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standard, meeting our quality and presentation requirements
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting
  • Strong cooking skills and a passion for creating high-quality dishes
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
