Green Energy Technologies is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator based in our Cannonvale Office.

Green Energy Technologies has grown to a team of over 90 since 2010. We are dedicated to making the switch to solar easy for every home and business; we achieve this through the delivery of exceptional service and ongoing support and maintenance.

Are you ready to kick-start your career in finance? We're looking for a proactive, detail-driven Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone eager to learn and take ownership of a key part of our finance operations.

About the Role

As our Accounts Payable Administrator, you'll play a crucial part in keeping our accounts accurate and our payments on track. You'll be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring supplier payments are timely and accurate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate entry and coding of supplier invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Responding to supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships
  • Assisting with payment runs and internal approvals

  • General finance admin and support across the team

  • Payroll processing

  • Liaising with internal teams - sales, admin, installation and management
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial & management reports

This is a full time role, with hours between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 3pm Friday.

The successful applicant will have/be:

  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn
  • An eye for detail, identifying and rectifying abnormalities
  • Self-motivated, comfortable to work independently and take initiative
  • Solutions focused, enjoy finding resolutions for problems and are happy to raise questions
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Previous experience using accounting software & spreadsheets (highly regarded, but not essential)
