Prophet builds digital clones of organisations – AI-powered, mathematical models that bring together thousands of internal, marketing, operational, and macroeconomic data points. These models allow leaders and marketers to test strategies, run "what if" scenarios, and make confident decisions before committing resources in the real world.

About The Role
This is a hands-on GTM leadership role for a commercially driven, well-connected Sydney operator. You'll be Prophet's front-line presence in NSW - cultivating opportunities, creating connections, and positioning Prophet with senior decision-makers across enterprise brands, agency networks, and independent agencies.

You'll bring the rare ability to switch seamlessly between setting the GTM direction and personally leading the charge - from opening doors to shaping pitches, steering negotiations, and closing complex enterprise deals.

With the ability to hire and grow a team starting with a Sales Executive, you'll lead by example - directly managing high-value pursuits while building the frameworks, partnerships, and plays that will scale Prophet's market presence.

You'll collaborate with Prophet's product, engineering, marketing science, and growth teams to design and execute targeted GTM motions that win business and deepen market penetration in Sydney - our most critical market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evolve and execute Prophet's go-to-market strategy across commercial, growth, channel, and partnership streams.
  • Drive your own portfolio of enterprise sales opportunities from first conversation through to signed contract, managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline across priority sectors and high-value accounts.
  • Leverage and expand your network to open opportunities with enterprise brands, agency networks, and independent agencies.
  • Be a consistent presence where it matters - from boardrooms to industry events, panels, and private leadership forums.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships and channel relationships, executing joint GTM campaigns and co-selling motions.
  • Hire, coach, and enable your Sales Executive and future team while continuing to personally lead major deals.
  • Track, analyse, and optimise GTM execution using data to ensure targets are met and exceeded.

What You Bring

  • 8–10 years' experience in enterprise sales, GTM leadership, and business development - ideally within SaaS, enterprise tech, or marketing technology.
  • An established, high-value network across the ANZ marketing and media ecosystem - from agency C-Suite to CMOs and enterprise brand leaders - with a proven record of converting relationships into revenue.
  • Proven track record in an early-stage or high-growth startup, building GTM plans and closing major enterprise deals.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing commercial teams.
  • Demonstrated success working with enterprise brands, agency networks, and independent agencies to deliver revenue growth.
  • Strong presentation and pitching skills, with experience leading high-stakes client meetings, RFPs, and tender responses.
  • Proficiency with martech tools such as HubSpot and Outreach, and experience working with sales enablement teams to amplify GTM impact.
  • Comfort operating in a lean, high-performance team, moving between strategic planning and day-to-day sales execution.
  • Deep understanding of the Sydney and broader ANZ enterprise market, with an established network of senior decision-makers.
