About the Role

Our Cellar Door is based 10 minutes from Orange, it is an exciting and picturesque place to work for a budding hospitality of wine industry professionals.

As a member of the cellar door team, you will be responsible for working cohesively with the See Saw team to provide an exciting and informative guest experience.

You will be responsible for the delivery of an experience in line with the brand identity, increasing wine sales and wine club memberships and educating guests on our sustainable farming and wine making practices.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Assist the See Saw team in developing the Cellar Door customer experience
  • Ensure cellar door presentation meets high and on brand standards
  • Manage guest experience
  • Create initiatives to drive direct to customer sales.
  • Increase wine club subscriptions
  • Work closely with the Cellar Door Manager
  • Operate digital platforms, POS, CRM and online bookings
  • Comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol

About you

This position is an outstanding opportunity for a self-motivated, personable, skilled cellar door, hospitality, or tourism professional.

You will possess the following:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality or wine sales industry or experience in a similar role, preferred but not essential. We are happy to teach the right person.
  • An understanding of wine and a willingness to learn
  • A keen eye for detail and highly organized
  • Ability to work within a team environment and individually
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication
  • NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol or ability to obtain
  • Valid driver's license
  • Available weekends
