
Junior Programs Lead

We are currently seeking to appoint a Junior Programs Lead - Melbourne Stars within our Community Cricket team to strategically support and drive Entry Level Programs and junior programs ensuring increased participation and high-level customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Cricket Victoria, Cricket Australia (CA) and State/Territory staff to develop long term Entry Level Program (Cricket Blast) design and implementation strategy.
- Strategically prioritise and target opportunities for integration of the Entry Level Programs and other participation programs into junior cricket pathways.
- Ensure communication and education of Entry Level Program benefits, requirements and delivery via Cricket Victoria staff and communities.
- Implement transition plans between school based Entry Level Programs and other participation programs and Junior Clubs.
- Collaborate with BBL Clubs to implement BBL aligned promotional strategies and be a vital link between BBL franchises and Entry Level Program opportunities.
- Drive the expansion of Entry Level Programs and other participation programs through "community based" models that maximise interest generated through BBL and international cricket schedules.
- Work with Cricket Victoria Field Force, Cricket Australia (CA) and State / Territory staff to plan and develop initiatives relating to various State and National funding pools.
- Assist and educate local cricket associations on the national participation pathway and assist in its implementation.
The successful candidate will be a team player who can build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders. They will have a strong ability to solve problems as well as being able to lead and inspire others to achieve the best possible outcome for cricket. They will have strong analytical and problem solving skills accompanied with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in a Sports, Sales, Project Management or Educational focused role
- Experience in developing high level, multi-departmental strategies based on data
- Strong understanding of the sports industry
- Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (or arranged upon appointment)
- Current Victoria Driver's License
