We're hiring Prep & Events Chefs (junior and senior). These roles are all about execution - prepping, organising and delivering high-quality food for events. You'll help ensure everything runs smoothly, on time and to standard. You must be detail-focused, calm under pressure, efficient and a strong team player.

Role Overview

The Prep & Events Chef is responsible for preparing, organising and executing food for events to a high standard of quality and presentation. This role ensures smooth service, punctual delivery and consistency across all dishes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organise food for events during weekly prep shifts
  • Assist with packing, loading and food service at events in Sydney and surrounds
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety
  • Work efficiently to event schedules and deadlines
  • Some work may require regional travel or occasional overnight stays
  • Senior chefs may supervise junior staff and lead sections when required

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Calm under pressure and able to execute to a high standard
  • Flexible — able to work both prep shifts and on-site events
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Experience in commercial kitchens or catering (leadership required for senior roles)
  • Driver's licence preferred but not essential
  • Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
