We are currently recruiting for a casual to permanent role as a Warehouse and Dispatch Officer based at Carole Park. The role will start as a casual position and look to go permanent after 3-month probationary period. The starting rate is $37.50 per hour casual rate on dayshift.

Our client is an Australian business supplying national markets through a refined and systematic manufacturing process. They design and manufacture products for a wide range of specialist applications, leveraging years of technical knowledge and expertise.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (current licence required).
  • Plan daily work in receival and dispatch
  • Apply FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principle during put away.
  • Manage paperwork associated with receivals and dispatch of warehouse goods.
  • Receipt of stock into Microsoft D365.
  • Upholding process to ensure standards are met in relation to scanning and location.
  • Ensure incoming inspection of goods upon receipt is undertaken
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Work in conjunction with production and dispatch staff to maintain warehousing standards
  • To follow all WHS guidelines in relation to work activities, eg personal protective equipment and clothing, safe operating procedures

To Be Considered, You Will Need:

  • A Current Forklift Licence.
  • Previous dispatch and receiving experience preferred in a manufacturing environment.
  • Physical capability to handle the manual tasks required in a manufacturing environment.
  • A good attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • Two references and availability to start ASAP.
