Provectus Algae is seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to support our facility build-out and equipment installation projects on a casual basis for up to 3 months. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone physically capable and ready for immediate start.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with lifting, moving, and positioning heavy equipment during facility installations.
  • Assemble bioreactor systems, including vessels, probes, piping, gaskets, and ancillary components.
  • Proficiently use hand tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Support general site clean-up and preparation.
  • Follow instructions from site supervisors and team leads.
  • Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist tradespeople and technicians as needed.
  • Maintain attention to detail, documentation, and quality control standards.

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent schedule.
  • Ability to follow clear instructions and work safely within a team.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday with potential weekend shifts.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
  • EWP and forklift tickets highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings advantageous but not essential

Employment Conditions:

  • Casual or contractor-based engagement.
  • Monday to Friday with potential weekend work.
  • Immediate start available.
