An exciting opportunity exists fora Senior Financial Accountant, based at our Head Office in Macquarie Park to assist the Financial Controller in controlling and directing all aspects of the financial accounting and governance function.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Run month-end journals, GL close, reconciliations, and SG&A reporting.
  • Maintain strong financial controls & governance, ensure standards are met.
  • Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly/annual reports with commentary & insights.
  • Lead statutory compliance & audit (external and Internal)
  • Support budgeting & forecasting and performance improvements initiatives.
  • Manage lease accounting in line with accounting standards.
  • Own tax deliverables: income tax and FBT returns.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Tertiary degree in finance/accounting and CPA/CA.
  • 5+ years in a similar financial accounting role (FMCG/Manufacturing exposure highly desirable).
  • Advanced Excel, strong modelling/analysis, and experience leading finance projects.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong systems knowledge, including ERP and BI platforms.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and automation.
