About the Role
The Service Quote Writer (SQW) is responsible for coordinating and finalising Toyota Material Handling equipment repair quotes. This role provides assistance to ASR's (Area Service Representatives) by providing quotes to customers for all tyre and wheel replacements in addition to any rental return or de-hire customer damage repairs. The primary function of this role is to complete the quoting process and submit quotes to our customers in timely manner. The SQW works closely with the ASR'sand overall Branch Service and Rental Teams.
Please note this role is based on-site in Moorebank, NSW 5 days per week and no WFH options are available.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with TMHA internal departments, suppliers, contractors and Account Managers to ensure accurate pricing is applied to quotes.
- Work with the Rental Manager, ASR's and Service Department to ensure all rental return, De-hire customer damage to TMHA rental units is priced accurately and invoiced according to customer Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions.
- Follow-up outstanding quotations in order to improve the level of customer service and to maximise retail work. Keep track of quotations and provide relevant reporting when requested.
- Compile and complete all quotes in an accurate and timely manner to meet TMHA and customer requirements.
- Liaise with technicians and identify necessary parts, sublets and labour required for repairs.
- Update and support relevant databases and systems and ensure all data is correct.
Skills and Experience
- Trade/mechanical background with field or workshop experience (beneficial).
- Solid experience in the spare parts department and TMHA system knowledge (beneficial).
- Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP (SAP or similar) system.
- Proven experience with liaising and negotiating with all levels of management, internal and external customers.
- Experience in processing a high volume of purchase orders and quotes in an accurate and timely manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic in all dealings with customers and TMHA personnel.
