Huhtamaki is organised across multiple business segments and Huhtamaki Foodservice Packaging Oceania sits within the Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania (EAO) business segment, which operates across Europe, Asia, Oceania, Middle East and Africa.  We are one of the largest manufacturers, importers and distributors of foodservice packaging in ANZ, with offices and warehouses in 8 sites across 5 states in Australia, including a manufacturing facility in Windsor, NSW and a distribution centre in Henderson, New Zealand.  The business provides finished packaging products to a wide network of customers from global to local QSR businesses, as well as metropolitan and regional packaging wholesalers, food wholesalers, and club and hospitality suppliers.

About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Customer Service Administrator to join our team based in our fast-paced Winston Hills office and distribution centre. This role is a full-time position, but could also be suitable to part time working 5 days -school hours, and has the opportunity to engage with all parts of the Huhtamaki Foodservice Oceania business in a key customer contact role.

This role is customer focused & clerical in nature, and will support across two customer service hubs of the business.  It will require great interpersonal skills and an intermediate to advanced level of computer & literacy are a must.  The right candidate will be hard working, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, will be accountable, punctual, reliable and highly organised.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Managing enquiries and assisting customers via phone (inbound and outbound calls), email and face-to-face
  • Data entry of customer orders and invoices via phone and email as well as monitoring our online ordering platforms
  • Greeting Visitors to the site
  • Message taking and Calendar scheduling
  • Coordinate, recording & distributing incoming and outgoing mail, post mail daily
  • General typing of correspondence and documentation, Filing & Archiving
  • Providing exceptional levels of Customer Service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting the Office staff, Warehouse staff & Sales Team
  • Other General Administration duties as required / upon request

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience within a customer service, sales or administration environment
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking & able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation & interpersonal skills
  • Professional presentation and telephone manner
  • The ability to multitask, prioritise and demonstrate flexibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have an eye for detail and an organised approach
  • High level of computer literacy & proficient in the whole MS Office Suite
  • Be practical and show adaptability in different situations
