Casual Disability Support Worker – NDIS

About the Role

We are looking for caring and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis. You will be supporting NDIS participants to live independently, achieve their goals, and engage in their community. Every day will look a little different depending on the needs of the person you're working with.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting as required).
  • Supporting daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
  • Assisting with medication (as per support plans and training).
  • Transporting clients to appointments, activities, and community events.
  • Encouraging independence, social participation, and skill-building.
  • Following support plans, NDIS goals, and reporting requirements.
  • Documenting progress notes and reporting incidents when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in disability, aged care, or community services.
  • A genuine, caring, and patient attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliability and flexibility for shift work (including weekends, evenings, and public holidays if required).

Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
  • 100 points IDs
  • Covid -19 Certificate
  • proof of work right
  • Car rego and comprehensive insurance certificates
  • resume with 2 references.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Police Check.
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle (with comprehensive insurance).
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or equivalent.
