We are a dynamic Bookkeeping /Accounting firm based in Stirling.

We have an exciting opportunity for a well presented and experienced XERO/ MYOB Senior Bookkeeper to join our small friendly, professional team on Part Time basis.

The successful applicant will be a key member of the firm reporting to the Business Development Manager & the Managing Partner.

This is an experienced Bookkeeper role with bookkeeping skills in a small practice environment, along with the added responsibility of ensuring the clients are happy. Great team to work with.

Requirements:

  • Accounting firm experience, with a good working knowledge of Xero. MYOB & QBO experience will be desirable. Otherwise cv will not be considered.

  • Atleast 2 years experience.

  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills

  • Multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities

  • A "can do" attitude and the ability to think outside the square

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail

  • Self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy

  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly

  • Experience with accounting firm will be a distinct advantage

Tasks Include:

  • Working on Accounting software - XERO

  • Knowledge of MS Office needed (Excel & Outlook).

  • Processing Payroll, BAS & IAS preparation and liaising with the Managing Director.

  • Assisting in preparing financial information/reports for Accountants, on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Month end and Year end processing, reconciliations, payroll and data entry of required journals.

  • Ad-hoc work for the team.

  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with potential conflicting deadlines.

  • Mobility to a client's workplace if needed.

  • Worked on Add-ons such WorkFlow Max, Dext, Hubdoc, Deputy, Service M8 or more.

  • MYOB and QuickBooks knowledge is desirable.

  • For the right candidate there is an opportunity to step up within management accounting as well.

Ability to commence immediately would be an advantage.

Part time position based in Stirling WA 6021. Flexible hours & days except Wednesdays hours per week.
