Accounts Payable Officer - 4 Week Contract (Immediate Start)
Location: Northern Suburbs, Melbourne
Duration: 4 Weeks

FourQuarters are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our client's finance team for a short-term assignment. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process supplier invoices within set timeframes
- Prepare and execute weekly EFT payment runs
- Assist with month-end accruals, reconciliations, and rollover tasks
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly
- Manage petty cash processing and reconciliations
- Oversee the accounts inbox and respond to creditor queries efficiently
- Coordinate remittance distribution, cheque handling, and mail-outs
About You:
- TAFE qualification in Bookkeeping, or equivalent studies in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years' recent experience managing end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, including month-end processes
- Proven administrative skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues efficiently
