We are seeking an experienced Workday Test Manager with strong expertise in both HCM

and Finance modules to lead testing activities across a large-scale Workday transformation

program. The role will be responsible for developing the test strategy, overseeing execution,

managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement the overall Workday test strategy covering HCM and Finance

modules.

Lead and manage all test phases – Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression, and End-to-End

testing.

Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to develop test

plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.

Oversee test data management and ensure compliance with data security standards.

Manage defect triage, resolution tracking, and reporting to stakeholders.

Coordinate testing activities across Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation,

Absence/Time Tracking, Finance, Procurement, Expenses, and Projects.

Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and issues to program leadership.

Manage and guide test teams (onshore and offshore), ensuring adherence to best practices.

Support cutover activities and post-go-live validation

Key Skills & Experience

10+ years in test management, with minimum 3+ years in Workday HCM & Finance testing.

Hands-on experience across Workday HCM (Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits,

Absence, Recruiting, Time Tracking) and Finance (General Ledger, Expenses, Procurement,

Projects, Revenue) modules.

Strong knowledge of Workday test tools (e.g., Kainos Smart Test, Workday Test

Automation).

Proven experience managing large-scale ERP/HCM testing programs.

Strong understanding of end-to-end HR and Finance processes.

Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.

Experience working with Agile/Hybrid delivery models.

Excellent communication and presentation skills
