About the role

PodPlus Footwear is seeking a experienced and personable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Fulham, SA. As a casual Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and assisting in maintaining the store's sales and operational efficiency. This position will suit a caring and patient individual who enjoys helping others and works well in a team environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering a professional shoe fitting service in a specialized footwear store.
  • Assisting customers with shoe product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Maintaining a tidy and visually appealing store environment, including merchandising and stock management
  • Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Attending to administrative tasks & record keeping related to purchase orders (NDIS and other)

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a customer service or retail environment, preferably in the footwear or medical retail industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Willingness to learn and develop within the role
  • Computer literacy
  • Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays. Willingness to work at our second store in Prospect if required.
