ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Project Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting site construction and installation activities. You'll establish and manage QA/QC programs, review civil design deliverables, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and prepare site QA/QC plans and procedures.
  • Conduct site inspections and participate in acceptance testing for civil engineering packages.
  • Review IFC drawings and prepare statements of work for tendering packages.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve construction/installation issues and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Lead and participate in QA/QC inspections and provide technical oversight on rectifications.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on construction and installation activities.
  • Apply civil engineering principles to ensure projects meet design and legislative requirements.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Current, unencumbered C Class WA Driver's Licence.
  • At least 5 years of mine site construction/installation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in QA/QC, MDR, and technical documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of AS standards and mining-related legislation in WA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and provide technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and provide clear assessments.
