Overview

We are looking for a IT Meeting & Event Support Specialist to join our Sydney team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and supporting meetings and events for our customers. You will act as the first point of contact for meeting logistics, ensuring that everything runs smoothly on site or virtually. For larger or more complex setups, you will coordinate with our external partner to deliver the required services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, set up, and run customer meetings (in-person and hybrid).
  • Provide hands-on support with meeting rooms, AV systems, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
  • Liaise with customers to understand requirements and ensure smooth execution of meetings and events.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Escalate complex or large-scale events to SystemsGo or other external partners when needed.
  • Maintain meeting equipment and ensure rooms are ready and functioning.
  • Provide reporting and feedback on meeting support activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT, AV, event coordination, or meeting support role.
  • Strong knowledge of conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc.) and AV equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience working with external vendors is a plus.
