We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Company Accountant to oversee financial operations within the manufacturing industry. This permanent role, based in Caloundra and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving organisation.

Description

This role sits within a dynamic team the role includes but is not limited to:

  • Manage the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and control company expenses and cost management initiatives.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and systems.
  • Support decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in streamlining accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Profile

The successful Company Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.
