Reporting to: Shared Service Supervisor
Supervisory Responsibilities: Nil
Main purpose of position:
Responsible for the financial transactions related to the company accounts receivable tasks. This includes managing debtors in accordance with established Company procedures, including generating invoices, collecting payments posting receipts so as to minimize bad debt exposure, improve cash flow and achieve collection targets.
Business Systems:
To be a champion of technology use including SharePoint, CSI, APG Advantage, APGiQ (EPC),WMS, Biotime, Workplace from Meta and other technology or platforms introduced from time to time.
Detailed Responsibilities:- Recognition and support of APG Values including Customer First, Smart Service, Teamwork and Safe for All.
- Issuing invoices and billing statements to clients, and following up on these documents
- Keeping track of all payments and ensuring they are correctly applied to customer accounts
- Identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments
- Post quick payment receipts from the previous day and allocate all payment types have been allocated.
- Answer customer calls in a timely manner and maintain customer contact required for the accounts.
- Communicating with customers regarding their outstanding balances and payment deadlines
- Collaborating with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing disputes
- Reconciliation of customer accounts as required
- Prompt reporting of customer debtors or customer disputes
- Generate and dispatch monthly customer statements
- Release order for required accounts as required (planned or credit holds) and COD orders
- Receive and process new debtor account applications in a timely manner. Update CSI with customer details including credit limits and agreed terms.
- Provide customer reporting as required
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles
- Ensure Company Policies and Procedures are maintained.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Any other duties as required.
- Not to exceed purchase order limits without authority including product samples.

Indirect Relationships:Warehouse Supervisors, Assistant Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager.
