Schedule: Weekdays, 2–7 hour shifts (flexible within daytime hours)

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced female Arabic-speaking support worker to support an NDIS participant living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The role focuses primarily on community access, including attending appointments, engaging in recreational activities, and supporting independence in the community.

This position is ideal for someone who is empathetic, culturally sensitive, and confident supporting clients with mobility challenges or chronic health conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide community access support (appointments, light outings, shopping, social engagement)
  • Assist with safe mobility in the community
  • Communicate fluently in Arabic
  • Promote independence and empower the client in all activities
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
  • Ensure punctual, reliable, and professional support at all times

Requirements:

  • Female worker required (as per client's request)
  • Fluent Arabic speaker
  • Previous experience in disability support, MS, or complex health conditions (preferred)
  • Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Driver's licence and own reliable vehicle required
  • Ability to commit to consistent weekday shifts
