Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Cybertify Full time $120,000 - $150,000 per year
About Cybertify

Cybertify is Australia's premier compliance-first cybersecurity consulting firm, proudly Australian owned, fully independent, and sovereign in every respect. We specialise in protecting and enabling organisations in the country's most heavily regulated sectors: financial services, superannuation, legal, aged care, healthcare, banking, technology, and government-aligned enterprises.

Our clients demand more than security, they demand speed, trust, and board-level credibility. Cybertify delivers with rapid scoping, swift execution, and executive-ready outcomes that boards, regulators, insurers, and auditors respect.

Our Elite Cyber Squad, a hand-picked team of industry-leading red teaming, penetration testing, governance, and defensive experts, brings Big 4 calibre expertise with boutique agility, ensuring precision, independence, and uncompromising results.

About the Role

We are hiring a Cybersecurity Sales Consultant with a proven record selling cybersecurity consulting services, specifically offensive security (penetration testing, red teaming) and GRC/ISO 27001 compliance engagements.

This is a pure new business role, not account management. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting new clients across regulated and high-trust industries. Success in this role demands credibility, strong relationships, and the ability to sell complex consulting engagements at C-suite and board level.

Your background must be in consulting or professional services, not vendor, SaaS, or reseller sales. You understand how to scope and sell multi-disciplinary engagements, manage complex buying groups, and deliver outcomes that regulators, insurers, and boards respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through to proposal and closure.
  • Engage directly with CISOs, CIOs, COOs, CROs, Risk and Compliance executives.
  • Translate business, regulatory, and security challenges into structured, compliance-first solutions.
  • Work hand-in-hand with technical delivery and pre-sales teams to scope tailored engagements.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through your network, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Use data-driven sales enablement tools for pipeline management, tracking, and forecasting.
  • Represent the firm with professionalism, discretion, and authority in every client interaction.

What You Bring
  • Demonstrated success selling cybersecurity consulting services — including GRC, ISO 27001, penetration testing, red teaming, and adversary simulation.
  • A strong and trusted network within enterprise and mid-market sectors.
  • Experience working within cybersecurity consulting or advisory firms (not vendors or resellers).
  • Deep understanding of consulting sales cycles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capability.
  • High personal integrity, commercial acumen, and drive to exceed targets.
  • A reputation for being respected, credible, and trusted by both clients and peers.

Why Join Us
  • Join a sovereign, independent cybersecurity consulting firm trusted by regulated industries.
  • Represent an elite team of experts across offensive security, GRC, and risk advisory.
  • Sell services, not software — engagements that genuinely strengthen client resilience.
  • Access to state-of-the-art sales enablement tools, lead intelligence, and CRM automation.
  • Receive direct coaching and mentorship from our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to sharpen your craft and accelerate growth.
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based commissions — rewarding outcomes, not activity.

Why Join Cybertify
  • Elite Cyber Squad Advantage: Work directly with Australia's most experienced cybersecurity professionals.
  • Agile Disruption: Be part of a lean, fast-moving firm that delivers high-value results without the red tape and politics of bloated consultancies.
  • Impactful Work: Solve complex, high-stakes cybersecurity and compliance challenges for boards, regulators, and executives across Australia's most critical sectors.
  • Compliance-First DNA: Operate at the unique intersection of security and governance where GRC integration is not an add-on, but the foundation of every engagement.
  • Professional Growth: Gain exposure to cutting-edge tools, advanced methodologies, and enterprise-grade frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, Essential 8, CPS 234, NIST, and more).
  • Independent & Trusted: Provide objective advice, free from vendor influence or offshore conflicts. Cybertify's independence ensures client trust is never compromised.
  • Australian Sovereign Cyber: Support a firm that is 100% Australian owned and operated, designed to protect Australian businesses with Australian expertise.

What We Offer
  • A high-trust workplace with genuine autonomy, influence, and zero micromanagement.
  • Direct coaching and mentorship from our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to refine your craft and accelerate performance.
  • State-of-the-art sales enablement systems — HubSpot, automation tools, and advanced lead intelligence to drive success.
  • Direct client impact — your work is visible at board and executive levels, not buried in handovers.
  • Premium salary packages aligned with top-tier consulting firms, reflecting the calibre of our people.
  • A collaborative, performance-driven team culture that balances intensity with respect, and ambition with professionalism.
  • The opportunity to join a nationally recognised, sovereign cybersecurity consulting firm redefining the industry through integrity, expertise, and speed of execution.
