This Engineering Services company are looking for a Graduate Electrical Project Engineer to start their career in the electrical distribution industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects across multiple sectors, from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and control project elements, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth execution.
  • Develop efficient solutions for project challenges, optimizing processes and resources.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail across multiple tasks, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness to balance project delivery with safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, adjusting priorities as needed.
  • Create, revise, and maintain documentation such as plans, databases, and standard operating procedures.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards, particularly safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Teams) and desktop computing.
  • Strong IT skills, including SAP proficiency (Projects, Procurement, Inventory, Planning, Reporting, Maintenance).
  • Understanding of PMBOK principles and project management methodologies.
  • Ability to manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and reports effectively.
  • Team player with excellent independent working skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of implementing enhancements.
