The role:
In this diverse and hands-on position, you will:
- Coordinate Council's insurance portfolio to ensure appropriate coverage, effective risk transfer and value for money
- Manage insurance claims end-to-end, working with insurers, legal representatives and internal stakeholders to achieve timely and fair outcomes
- Support enterprise risk management activities including maintaining risk registers, preparing reports and building risk awareness across the organisation
- Assist with governance functions by compiling Audit and Risk Committee agendas, minutes and meeting documentation
About you:
To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience in insurance claims management, risk management or corporate governance
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
