Pittwater RSL Club has an exciting opportunity for a maintenance person who takes pride in their work. Work will be on a large property that requires the dedication of someone with a trade background or a similar level of experience for repairs, maintenance and small projects.

As an internal service provider your ability to develop, establish and maintain quality relationships with contractors and club employees is essential. In addition, your eye for detail and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety will be highly regarded.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Coordinator, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Preventative and corrective maintenance to the main club, bowls club and Futsal complex
    • Small project management
    • Grounds service and undertaking minor property works
    • General grounds cleaning
    • Maintaining procedures and records regarding maintenance and associated costs
    • Liaising with and coordinating contractors regarding property works

Your personal attributes will include:

    • The ability to provide an exceptional level of skill and service
    • A thorough understanding of the application of safe working practices in public areas
    • Excellent time management and troubleshooting abilities
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively unsupervised
    • Sound knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance scheduling
    • You must be a person who loves working around people

We are ideally seeking an individual who is available to work a roster including weekends, early shifts and special events for 10-25 hours a week approximately.
