We are seeking an experienced Handyperson to join our team. This role will report to the Chief Engineer and is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance

The successful candidate will:

  • Perform general building repairs, maintenance and cleaning tasks across multiple trade disciplines including regular painting
  • Be responsible for maintaining a clean work area
  • Always work in a wise manner adhering to current WH&S legislation
  • Carry out high quality guest room preventative maintenance as scheduled

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A flexible work attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A strong desire to work in a service focused environment
  • The capacity to work unsupervised in a tight team environment
  • Professional presentation
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Cert III Painting & Decorating (desired)
  • Must have Full Working Rights and be able to work 38hrs/week
