Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor, you'll play a key role in guiding and supporting our team to deliver outstanding service while keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. You'll be the go-to person during your shift, ensuring tasks are completed on time and team members are empowered to succeed.

A Shift Supervisor is responsible for guiding and supporting the team in providing a positive customer experience as well as ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.

  • Develop and assign tasks to team members
  • Resolve customer complaints and/or grievances in a respectful manner
  • Provide training to new team members and development opportunities for experienced team members
  • Provide guidance, lead the team, give praise and constructive feedback to team members as appropriate to do so
  • Record stock levels, and place stock orders when necessary
  • Set up and shut down cash drawer and balance EFTPOS with POS
  • Secure premises - lock doors, windows and set alarm system

What we're looking for:

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience (retail or hospitality preferred)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate and support a diverse team
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Comfortable with basic point-of-sale and EFTPOS systems
