What's the role?
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Fixed Plant Electrician to join our team in Port Hedland. The main focus of this role is maintaining stackers, conveyors and workshop equipment at Qube's Utah point port facility. As continuous improvement is a strong focus, project work is often required.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

  • Electrical Mechanic – "A" Grade WA Endorsed
  • Experience in fixed plant maintenance
  • High Voltage ticket – Essential
  • High-Risk Licence – EWP, Forklift (highly regarded)
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills and able to read electrical drawings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Ability to be flexible & adaptable to work in a demanding environment
  • Experience in a mining environment
  • Have a positive attitude
